Working Together
I work from photographs, enabling me to accept commissions from clients anywhere. Email me your favorite photographs of your pet, including descriptions of what you love and what endears you to your dog. Working together, we will select the most appropriate photograph. I’ll create a series of sketches based on your photograph and send them to you by email. After we decide on a sketch, I begin the portrait in the medium of your choice, either oil or watercolor.
Portrait Investment
A custom, one of a kind dog portrait by Katherine is an investment that you will be able to enjoy for the rest of your life. It has immense value as a remembrance, and will likely be passed on through generations.
Portraits start at $900 for a 9 x 12 original painting on canvas or high quality fine art paper, and is a wonderful gift to a friend or family member as well as a special treat for yourself.
I offer a variety of sizes - including larger and custom sizes. Please let me know if you’d like to discuss larger sizes and prices.
As animals give us so much unconditional love, a percentage of your payment will be given directly to the Angel Animal Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA.
